Attendance Module
Students leaving and returning
- What happens when a student leaves.
- When a student leaves they are given a new code in Details.
- When the attendance is entered, that student does not show on the attendance
list from the date stated.
-
- What happens when a student returns
- When a student returns they are given a new code in Details.
- When the attendance is entered, that student will appear from the date
of first entry, including the time not enrolled.
-
- What happens to the attendance records
- Attendance remembers the student's status for all days attendance was
entered, even when not enrolled.
- When they return, you must manually check each record from the day
they left until the day you physically
- made the entry that they returned (not just the date they returned.)
-
- THE ATTENDANCE MODULE REMEMBERS!
- All entries are remembered! When a student is post dated as left but
attendance has been taken, the student will
- disappear from the list on the day stated in the Detail Codes but the
program keeps track of them. If it is three
- days until you mark a student as left, and attendance was taken, if
you did not mark that student as Not Enrolled,
- they will probably be marked as present. When they return, those days
are remembered and reinstated at the time
- they return. This is an error and must be manually corrected. The same
applies when they return.
-
- MANUALLY CHECK THE ATTENDANCE RECORDS OF A
STUDENT THAT RETURNS,
- FROM THE DAY THEY LEFT UNTIL THE DAY YOU PHYSICALLY
ENTERED THEM AS RETURNED!
