How do I change column widths?

There are two ways in which column widths can be changed:

1) You can enter widths into the Column Widths dialog from the Style menu (note that columns from the Students, Assignments and Scores windows are all represented here).

2) You can adjust a column's width directly by dragging one of its column heading dividers. If a column appears on a report, first go to the window containing that column of data (for example, go to the Scores window if any scores on your reports appear in columns that are too narrow).

The latter can be accomplished by simply placing your mouse's cursor over a line separating two column headers (above the columns), so that it changes into a double-headed arrow, called a width-control pointer. Click and drag to change a column's width, and then release the mouse button.

This will alter the width of the column both on your screen and on reports.

The Column Widths dialog enables you to adjust column widths precisely to the nearest pixel. (One pixel's width is considered to be 1/72 inch.)

How do I change font sizes/styles?

Select 'Font' from the Style menu to choose a different type of font. Select 'Size' from the Style menu to choose a different font size.

Note that your choices will alter the font/font size in all of eClass Grades' windows and on your reports.
